    If you are in downtown Kenosha, start at the Kenosha Public Museum located at 5500 1st Ave. From there, head north on 1st Ave towards Main St. Turn left on Main St and walk until you reach 6th Ave. Turn right on 6th Ave and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Green Bay Rd. Turn left onto Green Bay Rd, and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum will be on your right at 880 Green Bay Rd.

  • Public Transit

    Begin at the Kenosha Transit Center located at 724 54th St. Take Bus Route 4 (Green Line) heading towards the Kenosha Harbor. Get off at the stop on Green Bay Rd & 88th St. From there, walk north along Green Bay Rd for about 0.2 miles. The entrance to Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum will be on your left at 880 Green Bay Rd.

    If you prefer to bike, start from the Lakefront at Simmons Island Park. Head north on the bike path along the lake until you reach 54th St. Turn left on 54th St and continue until you hit Green Bay Rd. Turn right on Green Bay Rd and bike north for about 1.5 miles.
