From the Kenosha Transit Center, catch the Route 4 bus heading towards the Southport Transit Center. Get off at the stop nearest to 54th St and 1st Ave. Once you disembark, walk north on 1st Ave, and the Civil War Museum will be on your right at 5400 1st Ave. The entire journey should take about 20-25 minutes including the bus ride.
Biking

If you prefer to bike, start at the Kenosha Harbor and follow the bike path south along the lakefront. Once you reach the intersection with 54th St, turn left and head east until you reach 1st Ave. Turn left again and the Civil War Museum will be on your right at 5400 1st Ave. This route should take around 15 minutes depending on your biking speed.
