Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the main roads within Kettle Moraine State Forest, and head towards Cedarburg. From the nearest entrance of the forest, follow the signs leading to Highway 43. Merge onto I-43 N toward Green Bay. After about 20 miles, take exit 92 toward Cedarburg. Continue onto WI-60 W, then turn left onto Covered Bridge Rd. Follow this road until you reach the Cedarburg Covered Bridge, located at 1728-1784 Covered Bridge Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you’ll need to find a nearby bus station that services Cedarburg. From the Kettle Moraine State Forest, take a local bus to the nearest train station, which connects to the Milwaukee County Transit System. From there, catch a bus heading toward Cedarburg. Once you arrive in Cedarburg, you may need to walk or use a local taxi service to cover the final distance to the Cedarburg Covered Bridge at 1728-1784 Covered Bridge Rd.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, biking is a great way to reach the Cedarburg Covered Bridge. From Kettle Moraine State Forest, take the scenic back roads heading toward Cedarburg. Use a bike-friendly map to navigate County Rd I, which leads directly to Covered Bridge Rd. This route will take you through beautiful scenery, and upon arrival, you can park your bike safely at the bridge area.

• Walking

  If you're already in Cedarburg and just need to reach the Cedarburg Covered Bridge, you can simply walk from any central location in Cedarburg. The bridge is approximately 1.5 miles from downtown Cedarburg, and the route is well-marked. Head north on Washington Ave, then take a left onto Covered Bridge Rd, which will lead you directly to the bridge.
