From the bus stop, walk a short distance to the entrance of Upper Hixon Forest, which will be on your left.

    If you are choosing to bike, start by heading north on Main Street. Follow Main Street until you reach the intersection with 7th St, then turn left. Continue north until you reach the intersection with Cass St, and take another left. Ride along Cass St until you reach the entrance to Upper Hixon Forest located at 800 Milson Ct. The forest is bike-friendly, so enjoy the ride!

    If you prefer to walk, start from the La Crosse River State Trail which is accessible from several points in downtown La Crosse. Head towards the trail and follow it northbound. Continue walking until you reach Milson Ct. Turn left onto Milson Ct, and you will soon arrive at the entrance to Upper Hixon Forest at 800 Milson Ct. It's a scenic walk that takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
