If you are traveling by car on Madeline Island, start from the center of the island, where you will find the main road, Madeline Island Ferry Line. Head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Airport Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles, and you will see signs directing you to the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Bayfield, Wisconsin. The ferry ride takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately $16 for a vehicle and driver. Once you arrive in Bayfield, head north on Rittenhouse Avenue (WI-13) for about 0.5 miles. The Old Rittenhouse Inn will be on your left at 301 Rittenhouse Ave.
