    Bicycle

    If you're in downtown Madison, bike rentals are available at several locations. From downtown, head east on East Wilson Street toward Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Continue straight onto East Washington Avenue (US-151) and follow this road for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Atwood Avenue and follow it for about 0.5 miles until you reach Olbrich Botanical Gardens on your right at 3330 Atwood Ave. There are bike racks available at the entrance.

    Public Bus

    To reach Olbrich Botanical Gardens using public transit, catch Metro Transit bus route 6 from downtown Madison (the stop at State St & Carroll St) heading toward the East Towne Mall. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the Atwood Ave & Fair Oaks Ave stop. From there, walk east on Atwood Avenue for about 0.3 miles. Olbrich Botanical Gardens will be on your left at 3330 Atwood Ave.

    Walking

    If you are near the State Capitol, start walking east down East Wilson Street until you reach Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Continue straight onto East Washington Avenue (US-151) and walk for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Atwood Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. Olbrich Botanical Gardens will be on your right at 3330 Atwood Ave. This walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes.
