If you're in downtown Madison, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations. Head east on East Washington Ave until you reach Milwaukee St. Turn right onto Milwaukee St, and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Hiestand Park will be on your left at 4302 Milwaukee St.
Public Bus
From the downtown area, find a bus stop for the Madison Metro Transit. Take bus route 6 (East Towne) or 12 (East Towne) from the nearest stop. The bus will take you toward the east side of Madison. Get off at the stop at Milwaukee St & Hiestand Park, which is just a short walk from the park entrance.
Walking
If you're close to the East Side, navigate towards Milwaukee St. From the intersection of East Washington Ave and Milwaukee St, walk east along Milwaukee St for about 1.5 miles. Hiestand Park will be on your left at 4302 Milwaukee St. Enjoy the scenery along the way as you walk through this peaceful neighborhood.
