Walking
Starting from the Memorial Union on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, head north on Park Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Wisconsin Historical Society on your right. Once you reach the intersection with North Johnson Street, continue straight. The Humanities Building, where the Department of History is located, will be on your left at 455 N Park St. Enter the building and take the elevator or stairs to the third floor, where you will find the Department of History in room 3211.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from various locations around the campus. From the Bike rental station at the Union, head north on Park Street. It’s a straight route, and you will find bike lanes along the street. In about 10 minutes of cycling, you’ll arrive at the Humanities Building at 455 N Park St. There are bike racks available outside the building for parking your bike.

Public Transportation
For those who prefer public transport, you can catch a bus from the Memorial Union bus stop. Look for the Metro Transit buses heading towards the West Transfer Point. Get off at the stop for 'North Park St & University Ave' (about 2 stops). From there, it's a short walk south along Park Street to the Humanities Building at 455 N Park St. The bus fare is $2.00 (exact change required) for a single ride.
