Car
From any location in Northwoods, head towards US-2 E. If you're coming from Hayward, take WI-77 W to connect with US-2 E. Continue on US-2 E for about 25 miles. Take a left on WI-27 N and drive for approximately 8 miles until you reach the town of Brule. Once you're in Brule, turn onto Ranger Rd. Follow Ranger Rd for about 4 miles, and you will arrive at the Brule River State Forest entrance at 6250 Ranger Rd, Brule, WI 54820. Parking is available, and you may need to pay a small fee for access, typically around $5 per vehicle for a daily pass.
