Public Bus

Start by finding the nearest bus stop in Racine. You can take Racine's public transit service, which is operated by the Racine Transit System. Look for a bus that heads towards Milwaukee. One option is the Route 2 bus, which travels north. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. When you board, let the driver know your destination is Milwaukee. After approximately 45-60 minutes, you will arrive at the Milwaukee downtown bus terminal. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Milwaukee County Transit System. Catch the Route 30 bus, which runs towards the East Side and will take you close to your destination. Get off at the stop at N Broadway & E Wells Street. From there, it's a short walk to the Grohmann Museum located at 1000 N Broadway.

Bicycle

If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service or a rental shop in Racine. Start by heading north on the bike path that runs along the lakefront. Continue on the path until you reach the Milwaukee County line. Once you enter Milwaukee, follow the bike route signs towards downtown. You will eventually reach N Broadway. Once you arrive at N Broadway, follow the street until you reach 1000 N Broadway where the Grohmann Museum is located.

Walking

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from downtown Racine. Head north on Main Street, which turns into N Main Street as you leave downtown. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of N Main and Washington Avenue. Here, turn right onto Washington Avenue and continue straight until you reach the lakefront. From there, follow the shoreline, enjoying the view, until you reach the Milwaukee border. Once you are in Milwaukee, continue walking to N Broadway. When you reach N Broadway, turn left and head south until you reach 1000 N Broadway, where the Grohmann Museum is located.
