Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 50th Street and Simmons Island Road. From there, walk east on Simmons Island Road for about 10 minutes until you reach Simmons Island Beach at 5001 Simmons Island Rd.

If you're renting a bike, start at the Racine Harbor and head south on the Lake Michigan Pathway. Follow the pathway along the shoreline for about 8 miles. Continue until you reach Simmons Island Beach, which will be on your right at 5001 Simmons Island Rd. Be cautious of traffic when crossing any streets.

From the Racine Zoo, head south on Zoo Avenue until you reach 12th Street. Turn left and walk east on 12th Street until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and walk south until you reach 50th Street. Turn left on 50th Street and then right onto Simmons Island Road. Walk east for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Simmons Island Beach at 5001 Simmons Island Rd.
