Start your journey at the Racine Public Library located at 75 7th St, Racine, WI 53403. Exit the library and head south on 7th St towards Main St. Turn left onto Main St and continue for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with 6th St. Turn right onto 6th St and walk for another 0.2 miles. After crossing over the bridge, you will see a park area on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Xanthippe Ln. Turn left onto Xanthippe Ln, and the Wisconsin State Historical Marker 72: The Spark will be along this road.

From the Racine Transit Center located at 900 6th St, Racine, WI 53403, take Bus Route 1 towards the South Side. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 21st St and Xanthippe Ln. Disembark the bus and walk straight down Xanthippe Ln for approximately 0.2 miles, and you will find the Wisconsin State Historical Marker 72: The Spark on your right.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops near the Racine Harbor. Begin your ride heading south along the shoreline path.
