Walking
If you are in downtown Sturgeon Bay, start at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Jefferson Street. Head north on 3rd Avenue until you reach the waterfront. Take a left onto the waterfront path, which is the Door County Maritime Museum. Continue walking along the waterfront path until you reach the bridge over the Sturgeon Bay Canal. Cross the bridge, and keep following the path until you reach Bay Shore Drive. Turn right onto Bay Shore Drive and walk approximately 1.5 miles. George K. Pinney County Park will be on your left at 4879 Bay Shore Dr.

Biking
If you have rented a bike, start at the Sturgeon Bay City Hall located at 421 Michigan Street. Head east on Michigan Street until you reach 3rd Avenue. Turn left onto 3rd Avenue and continue north to the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path toward the bridge over the Sturgeon Bay Canal. Once you cross the bridge, continue on the path, and then turn right onto Bay Shore Drive. Ride along Bay Shore Drive for about 1.5 miles until you see the entrance to George K. Pinney County Park on your left.
