If you are starting from the town of Fish Creek, head northeast on Main Street towards the water. Continue until you reach the Fish Creek Park. From there, follow the Waterfront Trail, which will take you along the shoreline. This scenic route will eventually lead you to the Door County Maritime Museum. From the museum, you will need to take a local path leading north towards the lighthouse. It’s about a 2.5-mile walk from Fish Creek to the lighthouse, so be prepared for a leisurely stroll with beautiful views. Follow the signs that point towards Sherwood Point Lighthouse.

Starting from the village of Ephraim, take the bike path that leads north along Highway 42. This route is well-marked and features a dedicated bike lane for safety. Continue biking past the Peninsula State Park until you reach the intersection with County Road F. Turn left onto County Road F and follow it until you see signs for Sherwood Point Lighthouse. The total biking distance is about 4 miles from Ephraim to the lighthouse, and it offers gorgeous views of the bay.
