Start at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center located at 36 S. 3rd Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI. Head south on 3rd Ave toward Nebraska St. Continue on 3rd Ave until you reach the intersection with Jefferson St. Turn left onto Jefferson St and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. As you approach the waterfront, you'll see a walking path. Follow the path along the shoreline toward the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal. The lighthouse is located at the end of the pier, which is a short walk from the path.

If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Sturgeon Bay Bike Path located on the waterfront near the downtown area. Head north along the bike path that follows the shoreline. As you approach the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal, you will see signs directing you to the lighthouse. Follow the signs to the pierhead, where the lighthouse is located. Make sure to park your bike in the designated area before walking to the lighthouse.
