From the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center located at 36 S Madison Ave, head south on Madison Ave toward Jefferson St. Continue straight onto S 2nd Ave. Turn left onto Oak St and proceed to the footbridge over the canal. After crossing the bridge, follow S Lake Michigan Dr heading south. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Nature Preserve at 2499 S Lake Michigan Dr.
