Walking
If you are starting from downtown Sturgeon Bay, head east on Jefferson Street towards the waterfront. After about 0.3 miles, you will reach the waterfront park. Continue along the park path which runs parallel to the water. This scenic route will lead you past several local shops and eateries, and you'll have views of the bay. As you walk, keep heading north along the shoreline until you reach the intersection with North Duluth Avenue. Turn right (east) onto North Duluth Avenue and follow it until you reach the entrance to the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal. The lighthouse is located at the end of the pier. Make sure to stay on designated paths for safety.

Starting from downtown Sturgeon Bay, rent a bike from a local bike shop. Head north on Madison Avenue towards the waterfront. When you reach the waterfront park, pick up the bike path that runs along the bay. Continue riding north until you reach the intersection with North Duluth Avenue. Turn right onto North Duluth Avenue and keep pedaling until you see the entrance to the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal. The lighthouse is at the end of the pier. This route will provide a refreshing breeze and beautiful views of the water.
