    To reach Rib Mountain State Park from downtown Wausau, start by taking the Metro Ride bus from the Wausau Transit Center. You can board the Route 1 bus heading towards the Wausau East Terminal. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the 'Wausau East Terminal' stop. From there, transfer to the Route 2 bus that will take you towards Rib Mountain State Park. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'State Park Road & Rib Mountain Dr' stop. Rib Mountain State Park is a short walk from this stop, approximately 0.5 miles down State Park Road.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Wausau. Start at the Wausau River Walk, heading southeast until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street, then continue onto State Park Road. Follow State Park Road for about 2.5 miles. You'll see signs for Rib Mountain State Park, and the entrance is on your right at 149801 State Park Rd. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes, depending on your speed.
