If you are traveling by car and are within 50 kilometers from Old Faithful, start by locating the nearest highway. If you're coming from West Yellowstone, Montana, take US-20 E towards Yellowstone National Park. Enter the park through the West Entrance. Once inside, follow the signs for the Grand Loop Road (the main road through the park). Continue on Grand Loop Road for approximately 30 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Old Faithful, which will be on your right. There is a parking area available near the geyser, but be aware that parking can fill up quickly during peak season. A park entrance fee of $35 per vehicle is required for a 7-day pass.
