Car
From Rapid City, head west on I-90 W. Continue for about 20 miles until you reach exit 61 for US-385 N towards Deadwood. Take US-385 N for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with SD-34. Turn left onto SD-34 W and continue for about 10 miles. Afterward, turn right onto Cement Ridge Road, which leads directly to Cement Ridge Lookout. Follow this road until you reach the parking area at the lookout.

Public Transportation
From downtown Rapid City, take the local bus service to the nearest bus stop that connects to the regional bus service heading towards Spearfish. From Spearfish, transfer to a bus that heads towards Beulah, WY. Once you arrive in Beulah, you may need to walk approximately 3 miles to reach Cement Ridge Lookout, as public transportation may not go directly there. It is advisable to check the bus schedules in advance for the best times.

If you are coming from Sturgis, head south on US-34 E. Continue for about 12 miles until you reach the junction with US-85. Turn left onto US-85 N and continue for a few miles until you reach the turnoff for SD-34 W. Turn right onto SD-34 W, and then follow the same route as mentioned above via Cement Ridge Road to reach Cement Ridge Lookout.
