Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Alcova, WY, which is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Rawlins, WY. From Rawlins, take US-287 S for about 25 miles, then turn onto WY-220 W. Continue on WY-220 W for about 5 miles until you see signs for Devil's Gate Historic Site. You will need to turn onto a dirt road that leads to the site. Please note that this road may not be suitable for all vehicles, so check your car's capabilities before proceeding.
Public Transportation
Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Devil's Gate Historic Site. However, you can take a Greyhound bus or local transit to Rawlins, WY. From Rawlins, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the site, as it is approximately 30 miles away. Be sure to check the availability of local taxi services ahead of time, as they may have limited hours. Expect to pay a fare of approximately $50-$70 for the taxi ride.
