Public Transit
If you are starting from downtown Cheyenne, walk to the nearest bus stop along Lincolnway (US-87). Catch the Cheyenne Transit bus route 1, which heads towards the east side of Cheyenne. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the stop on Carey Avenue. From there, walk north for about 5 minutes along Carey Avenue until you reach the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum located at 4610 Carey Ave.
Walking
If you are staying near the Cheyenne Depot or in the downtown area, you can walk to the museum. Start by heading east on 15th Street until you reach Carey Avenue. Turn left (north) on Carey Avenue and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. The museum will be on your right at 4610 Carey Ave. Make sure to enjoy the local scenery along the way!
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike rental shops in Cheyenne. Head north on 15th Street towards Carey Avenue. Once you reach Carey Avenue, turn left and follow Carey Avenue north for about 1.5 miles until you see the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum at 4610 Carey Ave. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle at the museum.
