If you are traveling by car, start from Buffalo, Wyoming, and take I-25 S. After approximately 40 miles, take exit 299 for US-87 S toward Kaycee. Continue on US-87 S for about 30 miles, then merge onto US-26 W/US-87 S and follow for 50 miles. Turn left onto US-189 S and continue for about 15 miles. Names Hill Historic Site will be on your right, just before entering Kemmerer. Look for the historical landmark sign.
