From Laramie Plains, start by heading north on US-287 N. Continue on US-287 N for approximately 20 miles. Merge onto I-80 W towards Cheyenne. After about 40 miles, take exit 55 for US-87 N towards Buffalo. Continue on US-87 N for 42 miles, then turn left onto WY-194 W. Follow WY-194 W for about 8 miles until you reach the entrance of Fort Phil Kearny State Historic Site at 528 Wagon Box Rd, Banner, WY 82832. Parking is available on-site.
