Follow the signs directing you to Shell, WY. The Shell Falls Interpretive Site is located directly on US-14, approximately 21 miles east of the town of Lovell and 17 miles west of the town of Shell. Look for the signage for Shell Falls; there is a parking lot available for visitors.
Public Transportation
While public transportation options are limited in this mountainous region, you can consider using shuttle services or local taxis from nearby towns like Lovell or Shell. If you arrive in Lovell, local taxis can take you directly to the Shell Falls Interpretive Site. Ensure you confirm the fare with your driver before starting the journey, as prices may vary, generally ranging from $30 to $50 one way. There may be no scheduled public bus service directly to Shell Falls.
