Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Cody, WY. Head west on US-14/WY-120. Continue on US-14 for about 50 miles until you reach the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Once inside the park, follow the Grand Loop Road. The Calcite Springs Overlook is located about 12 miles north of the Mammoth Hot Springs area, and there will be signs directing you to the overlook. Please note that there is an entrance fee to Yellowstone National Park, which is currently $35 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you can take a shuttle or bus service from Cody to Yellowstone National Park. Once you arrive at the park's entrance, you can use the park's shuttle system to navigate to the various attractions. To reach Calcite Springs Overlook, take the shuttle heading towards Mammoth Hot Springs and get off at the nearest shuttle stop. From there, you may have to walk a short distance to the overlook. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as services may vary by season and day.
