From Cody, take US-14 W towards Greybull. Continue on US-14 W for approximately 40 miles until you reach the intersection with WY-20 S. Turn left onto WY-20 S and continue for about 18 miles. This road will take you to Thermopolis. As you approach Thermopolis, keep an eye out for West Cottonwood Road. Turn right onto West Cottonwood Road and continue for about 1 mile. The Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site will be on your left at 2861 West Cottonwood Road.

If you are coming from Powell, take US-14 W towards Thermopolis. After about 30 miles, turn left onto WY-20 S and continue towards Thermopolis. Once in Thermopolis, turn right onto West Cottonwood Road and proceed for approximately 1 mile. The Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site will be located on your left at 2861 West Cottonwood Road.
