Car
From the center of Snowy Range, head east on WY-130 E for about 10 miles. You will pass through the scenic landscape of the Medicine Bow National Forest. Continue until you reach the junction with WY-210. Take a left onto WY-210, which will lead you directly to Vedauwoo Climbing Area. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the Vedauwoo Recreation Area. There is a small parking area available once you arrive.
Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from Laramie to Buford, which is the nearest town to Vedauwoo. However, please check local schedules as they may vary. Once in Buford, you will need to use a rideshare service or arrange for a taxi, as there are no direct public transport options to the Vedauwoo Climbing Area itself. The ride from Buford to Vedauwoo is approximately 4 miles and may cost around $15-20 depending on the service.
Bicycle
For those adventurous enough to bike, you can cycle from Snowy Range to Vedauwoo. Follow the same route as the car, starting on WY-130 E. Please be cautious of vehicle traffic and ensure you have proper biking gear. The distance is about 10 miles, and the ride will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your cycling speed and fitness level.
