Getting There

  • Bicycle

    Start at the Laramie Depot, located at 600 S 1st St. Head south on S 1st St towards E Custer St. Continue on S 1st St until you reach W Garfield St and take a left. Follow W Garfield St as it turns into W Pine St. After about a mile, turn right onto US-287 S (also known as S 3rd St). Continue on US-287 S for approximately 10 miles. Look for signs directing you to Curt Gowdy State Park. The park entrance will be on your left, and you can enjoy the scenic ride up to the park.

    Take the Laramie Transit bus from the Downtown Transit Center located at 1st and Ivinson St. Board the bus that heads towards Cheyenne. Inform the driver you would like to get off at the exit for Curt Gowdy State Park.
