Getting There

• Car

  From Snowy Range, head east on WY-130 E. Continue on WY-130 E for approximately 16 miles until you reach the junction with I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 323 for WY-210 toward Cheyenne. Turn right onto WY-210 W, and then turn left onto Granite Springs Rd. Continue straight for about 3 miles, and you will arrive at Curt Gowdy State Park located at 1264 Granite Springs Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009.

• Public Transportation

  If using public transportation, first check for bus services that operate in the Snowy Range area. You may need to take a bus to Laramie, which is the nearest larger city. From Laramie, use the local transit or ride-share services to reach Cheyenne. Once in Cheyenne, you can take a taxi or ride-share service to reach Curt Gowdy State Park at 1264 Granite Springs Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009. Be aware that public transportation schedules may vary, so it is advisable to check the routes and timing in advance.

• Biking

  For those who are adventurous and wish to bike, start from Snowy Range and head east on WY-130 E. After about 16 miles, you can pick up the bike lane that runs alongside I-80 E. Please note that biking along highways can be challenging due to traffic, so it is recommended to have proper safety gear and be cautious. Once you reach exit 323 for WY-210 toward Cheyenne, follow the same directions to Granite Springs Rd and Curt Gowdy State Park.
