Getting There

• Car

  From Snowy Range, head east on WY-130 E. Continue on WY-130 E for approximately 16 miles until you reach the junction with I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 323 for WY-210 toward Cheyenne. Turn right onto WY-210 W, and then turn left onto Granite Springs Rd. Continue straight for about 3 miles, and you will arrive at Curt Gowdy State Park located at 1264 Granite Springs Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009.

• Public Transportation

  If using public transportation, first check for bus services that operate in the Snowy Range area. You may need to take a bus to Laramie, which is the nearest larger city. From Laramie, use the local transit or ride-share services to reach Cheyenne. Once in Cheyenne, you can take a taxi or ride-share service to reach Curt Gowdy State Park at 1264 Granite Springs Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009. • Biking

  For those who are adventurous and wish to bike, start from Snowy Range and head east on WY-130 E. After about 16 miles, you can pick up the bike lane that runs alongside I-80 E. Once you reach exit 323 for WY-210 toward Cheyenne, follow the same directions to Granite Springs Rd and Curt Gowdy State Park.
