If you are driving from the Snow King Mountain Resort, start by heading northwest on Snow King Ave toward E Broadway Ave. Continue on Snow King Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with WY-22. Turn left onto WY-22 W and follow it for approximately 5 miles. As you approach the Gros Ventre area, look for signs indicating Gros Ventre Trail. Turn onto the Gros Ventre Road and follow it for another 3 miles until you reach the trailhead parking area.

Public Transportation
To reach Gros Ventre Trail using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop to Snow King Mountain Resort. Board the local shuttle service heading towards Jackson. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Gros Ventre stop, which is the closest stop to the trailhead. From the bus stop, you may need to walk about half a mile down Gros Ventre Road to reach the trailhead entrance.

Walking
If you prefer to walk and are staying nearby, exit the Snow King Resort and head towards the main road. Walk along Snow King Ave heading northwest until you reach WY-22. Cross the road carefully and continue walking along the shoulder of WY-22 for about 5 miles. Turn left onto Gros Ventre Road and follow it for another 3 miles until you reach the Gros Ventre Trailhead. Make sure to wear appropriate walking shoes and stay hydrated!
