Car
From Jackson, Wyoming, take Highway 89/191 north for about 12 miles. You will reach the entrance to Grand Teton National Park. After entering the park, continue along the road for approximately 6 miles until you reach the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. Park your vehicle in the designated parking area (parking fees may apply, typically around $35 for a 7-day pass). From the visitor center, you will need to take the Jenny Lake Shuttle Boat to the trailhead, which costs about $20 for a round trip. The shuttle will take you across the lake in about 10 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, take the START Bus from Jackson to the Grand Teton National Park area. The bus schedule may vary, so check the START Bus website for the latest timetable. Once you arrive at the park, you will still need to reach the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. You can either walk or take a shuttle from the bus stop to the visitor center. After arriving at the visitor center, take the Jenny Lake Shuttle Boat to the trailhead, which costs about $20 for a round trip.
Hiking
Once you’ve taken the shuttle boat across Jenny Lake, disembark at the trailhead. From here, follow the marked Hidden Falls trail for about 1 mile. The trail is rated as easy to moderate with a 550-foot elevation gain, making it accessible for most hikers. Keep an eye out for signs along the trail, as they will guide you directly to the falls.
