Getting There

Car
If you are driving, take US-26 E / US-89 S from Jackson, WY. Continue for about 15 miles until you reach the junction with Teton Park Road. Turn left onto Teton Park Road and follow it for approximately 10 miles. You will see signs for Jackson Lake Overlook. The overlook is located at the parking lot on your left, just after passing the Jackson Lake Dam. There is no entrance fee for the overlook; however, there is a fee to enter Grand Teton National Park, which is $35 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the START Bus from Jackson, WY to the Grand Teton National Park. The bus will take you towards the park entrance. You will need to check the bus schedule for specific times, as service may vary seasonally. Once you arrive at the park, you can transfer to the park shuttle service (if available) that operates within the park. Request to be dropped off at the Jackson Lake Overlook. Be aware that there might be entrance fees to the park, so have your payment ready.
