Car
From the town of Boulder, Wyoming, head west on US-30 W. Continue for about 6 miles until you reach the junction with WY-352. Turn left onto WY-352 and follow it for approximately 12 miles. The road will lead you to the Big Sandy Trailhead. Look for signs indicating the trailhead entrance on your right. Be aware that the last few miles of this road may be unpaved and could require a high-clearance vehicle, especially after rain.

If you do not have a car, you can take a bus from Jackson, WY to Pinedale, WY. Once in Pinedale, you will need to rent a car to reach Big Sandy Trailhead. From Pinedale, head northeast on WY-191 N for about 28 miles until you reach the junction with WY-352. Turn left onto WY-352 and continue for 12 miles, following the directions provided above to reach the trailhead.
