From the West Thumb Geyser Basin parking lot, head south on the Grand Loop Road until you reach the junction with the West Thumb Geyser Basin Trail. The trailhead is located near the parking area. From there, follow the West Thumb Geyser Basin Trail, which is well-marked and leads directly to Mimulus Pool, approximately a 0.5-mile walk. The scenery along the trail includes several geothermal features and beautiful views of Yellowstone Lake.
