Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Amran city. Head northwest on Al-Mahwit Street and continue until you reach the junction with the Yemen Army Street. Turn left onto Yemen Army Street and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Dar AlHajar. Turn right onto the road leading to Dar AlHajar, which will take you through a scenic route with beautiful hills. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will arrive at Dar AlHajar. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Dar AlHajar using public transportation, head to the main bus station in Amran. Look for shared taxis (also known as 'servees') that head towards Wadi Dhahr. The fare should be around 500 YER. Inform the driver that you are going to Dar AlHajar, which is a well-known landmark. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Wadi Dhahr, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Dar AlHajar. Alternatively, you can hire a local guide or a small taxi for a short distance from the drop-off point.
