Car Rental
From the city center of Lahij, head south on the main road (Al-Mahjar Street). Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Wadi Bana. Turn left at the intersection and follow the signs towards Wadi Bana. After about 5 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance of Wadi Bana. Note that the road may be unpaved in some areas, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
Public Transportation (Taxi)
To reach Wadi Bana via public transportation, you can take a shared taxi from the main taxi stand in Lahij. Look for a taxi heading toward the south road (Al-Mahjar Street) and inform the driver that you wish to go to Wadi Bana. The fare should be around 1,000 to 1,500 Yemeni Riyals. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the intersection with the Wadi Bana road, ask the driver to drop you off, and from there, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you further into the Wadi.
Walking
If you are already near the entrance of Wadi Bana, you can walk from the main road. Ensure to keep following the signs leading to the Wadi. The terrain might be rugged, so wear appropriate footwear. It is advisable to go in a group or with a local guide for safety. The walking distance from the main road to the scenic spots within Wadi Bana may vary, so expect to walk at least 2-3 kilometers.
