Car
If you are starting from Hadibo, the capital of Socotra Island, take the main road heading east towards Qalansiyah. After about 30 kilometers, you will reach the coastal road. Turn left onto the coastal road and continue for about 13 kilometers. Look for signs pointing towards Detwah Lagoon. The lagoon is situated just off the main road and is easily accessible.

From Hadibo, you can take a shared taxi heading towards Qalansiyah. The fare is approximately 5,000 YER per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to Detwah Lagoon. The taxi will drop you off at the nearest point to the lagoon, from where you may need to walk a short distance to reach the lagoon's entrance.
