Car
If you are driving from the center of Taiz, head towards the main road leading out of the city towards Aden. Follow the signs for Aden, which typically direct you along the highway passing through Al-Hawban. After approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, you will reach the outskirts of Aden. As you enter Aden, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Crater district. Once in Crater, follow the directions to قلعة صيرة (Seera Castle), which is located on the coast. There may be parking available nearby, but be mindful of local regulations and fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Seera Castle using public transportation, start by taking a taxi or a local bus from Taiz to Aden. Look for a bus heading directly to Aden, which may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Aden, head to the bus station in Crater. From there, you can take a local taxi or a shared minibus to قلعة صيرة (Seera Castle). Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the castle, and expect a small fare (around 200-500 YER) for the ride.
Walking
If you find yourself in close proximity to Seera Castle once in the Crater district, walking can be an enjoyable option. From the main street in Crater, follow signs towards the coast where قلعة صيرة is located. It is a short walk from the main road, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may include some uneven terrain.
