Car
If you are driving from the city of Kabwe, head southwest on the Great North Road (A1) towards Mulungushi University. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit toward Mulungushi University. Follow the signs leading you to the university. Upon reaching the university entrance, continue past the campus until you see signs for Mutepa RARE Resort. The resort is located at Farm 3791A next to the Mulungushi River. Make sure to have a GPS or a map handy for the exact location.
Public Transportation
To reach Mutepa RARE Resort via public transport, start by taking a minibus from Kabwe's central bus station heading towards Mulungushi University. The fare is typically around ZMW 10-20. Once you arrive at Mulungushi University, you can either walk to the resort, which is about a 15-minute walk, or hire a local taxi to take you directly to Farm 3791A next to the university. Be sure to negotiate the taxi fare beforehand, which can range from ZMW 30 to 50.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can book a taxi from anywhere in Kabwe to Mutepa RARE Resort. The taxi can take you directly to Farm 3791A next to Mulungushi University. The fare will depend on your starting point but expect to pay between ZMW 50 and 100. Confirm the fare before starting your journey.
