Turn off the A1 onto a well-marked dirt road (approximately 10 kilometers) leading to the dam. Be cautious as the road may be bumpy. Upon arrival, there is no entrance fee, but ensure your vehicle is in good condition to handle the terrain.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a minibus from Kabwe heading towards Lusaka. Inform the conductor that you wish to get off at the turnoff for Mulungushi Dam. The fare is usually around 10 ZMW. From the drop-off point, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local motorbike (commonly called 'boda-boda') to take you the remaining 10 kilometers to the dam. Expect to pay around 50 ZMW for this ride. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.

Walking
