Car
Starting from Lusaka, head south on the Great East Road (A3) towards the town of Chisamba. Continue for about 60 km until you reach the junction for the A1 road. Turn left onto the A1 and continue driving south for approximately 370 km. You'll pass through towns like Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi. After Kapiri Mposhi, continue towards the town of Livingstone. As you approach Livingstone, follow the signs for Victoria Falls, which is located about 10 km from the town center. Parking is available near the entrance to the falls, but there may be an entrance fee (approximately $30 USD for foreign visitors).
Public Transportation
From Lusaka, take a bus or coach heading to Livingstone. Several bus operators run this route, including Mazhandu Family Bus Services and City Bus Services. The journey takes around 6-8 hours, with tickets costing between 200-300 ZMW (Zambian Kwacha). Upon arrival in Livingstone, you can take a local taxi or a minibus to Victoria Falls. The taxi fare will typically be around 50 ZMW, while a minibus might charge about 10 ZMW per person. Ensure you have cash in local currency for these fares.
