From Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, head northwest on the main road towards Kitwe. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction at the town of Chingola. Take the right turn onto the A3 road towards Kitwe. After about 10 kilometers, keep an eye out for the sign for Valerie's Game Ranch on your left. The ranch is located at 11712/M New Kitwe, Kitwe 10101. Make sure to drive carefully as the road can be bumpy and watch out for pedestrians and wildlife.

From Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, you can take a minibus taxi heading towards Kitwe. These taxis often leave from designated stops near the orphanage. It's advisable to ask locals for the exact location of the nearest stop. The fare is typically around 20 Zambian Kwacha. After arriving in Kitwe, you will need to take another minibus taxi heading towards New Kitwe. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Valerie's Game Ranch. The total journey can take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and waiting times for the minibuses.
