From the center of Kitwe, head east on Nkana Street towards the intersection with Chibuluma Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Chibuluma Road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, passing through the Martindale area. Once you see the sign for Martindale community, continue walking until you reach the entrance to Kitwe Tailing Dam, located on your left. The dam is approximately 800 meters from the main road.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Kitwe. Start at the central market and cycle east along Nkana Street. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Chibuluma Road. Keep riding for about 2 kilometers, passing through Martindale. Watch for the entrance to Kitwe Tailing Dam on your left. The route is relatively flat, making it a comfortable ride.
