From the center of Chipata, start by heading east on Mchinji Road. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Zambezi Road. At this junction, turn left onto Zambezi Road and keep walking for another 3 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass local shops and small markets, allowing you to experience the local culture. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Chipata. Continue on Zambezi Road until you reach the sign for Katete, which will be on your right.
