Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Kasanka Bat Forest entrance. Take the main road towards the town of Mfuwe. Continue on this road for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction near Mfuwe. At the junction, turn left towards Mpika. Nkwali Camp is located approximately 15 kilometers from this junction on the road to Mpika. Follow the signs to Nkwali Camp, which will be on your right-hand side as you approach the camp.

To reach Nkwali Camp using public transportation, you can take a minibus from Kasanka Bat Forest to Mfuwe. The minibuses typically leave when full and the journey takes about an hour. Once in Mfuwe, you will need to catch another minibus heading towards Mpika. Inform the driver you are going to Nkwali Camp; they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, it is about a 15-kilometer walk to the camp, so be prepared for a bit of a trek. Alternatively, you may be able to negotiate for a taxi from Mfuwe to Nkwali Camp for a more direct route.
