From Kasanka Bat Forest, take the main road heading south towards the town of Mwenda. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the T-junction near the town of Chinsali. At the junction, turn left onto the road leading to Kataba Forest. Follow this road for about 15 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs indicating Kataba Forest. The forest entrance will be on your right.

To reach Kataba Forest from Kasanka Bat Forest using public transportation, first, travel to the nearest bus station in the village of Kasanka. Take a minibus heading towards Chinsali. After about 30 kilometers, get off at the T-junction near Chinsali. From there, you may need to hire a taxi or a local motorbike taxi (commonly known as an 'boda-boda') to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to Kataba Forest. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting the journey.
