    From Lake Kariba, head northeast on the A9 highway towards the town of Siavonga. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach Siavonga. From Siavonga, take the B6 road heading to the border with Zimbabwe. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see a sign directing you to Sijarira Forest Area. Follow the signs and drive approximately 15 kilometers along the dirt road until you reach the entrance to the forest area. Please note that a small entrance fee may be required, so keep some local currency handy.

    To reach Sijarira Forest Area via public transport from Lake Kariba, first, take a minibus from the main taxi rank in Lake Kariba to Siavonga. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes and costs around 10 Zambian Kwacha. Once you arrive in Siavonga, look for a local taxi or a shared vehicle heading towards the B6 road.
