From your location in Luangwa Valley, take the main road towards Mfuwe. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the town of Mfuwe. Continue driving through Mfuwe and keep an eye out for signs pointing to Mambwe. Project Luangwa is located in Mambwe, which is about 5 kilometers from the center of Mfuwe. Follow the signs and watch for local landmarks such as the Mfuwe Community Library, which is nearby. You will find Project Luangwa at the address Mambwe, Mfuwe. There is no entry fee, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as fuel stations may be limited in the area.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a minibus or taxi from your location in Luangwa Valley to Mfuwe. Minibuses are a common and economical choice; they usually cost around 20 ZMW per person and leave when full. Once in Mfuwe, you will need to catch another minibus or a taxi heading towards Mambwe. The fare for this leg should be around 10 ZMW. Inform the driver that you are going to Project Luangwa, and they will drop you off nearby. Ensure you have some cash on hand, as most minibuses do not accept cards.
