Public Bus
From the city center of Lusaka, head to the main bus station, which is near the Central Market. Look for buses heading to Chongwe. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at Chaminuka Lodge. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. After you get off, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Chaminuka Lodge.
Bicycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
In Lusaka, you can find bicycle taxis (locally known as 'Boda Boda') around major hotels and markets. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Chaminuka Lodge in Chongwe. The trip will take around 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to show them the address: Chaminuka, Chongwe, zip code 10101.
Walking
If you are staying in a nearby area, you can walk to Chaminuka Lodge. Start by heading northeast from your location towards the main road. Follow the road until you reach a junction, then turn onto the road heading towards Chongwe. Keep walking along this road for about 5 kilometers until you see signs for Chaminuka Lodge. Be mindful of traffic, and ensure you have enough water, especially on hot days.
Motorcycle Taxi (Kabakaba)
You can find motorcycle taxis, known as 'Kabakaba', in various parts of Lusaka. Approach one and ask to be taken to Chaminuka Lodge in Chongwe. Ensure you agree on the fare beforehand. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to wear a helmet for safety.
